Happy New Month!
September is here and for me the start of this month heralds the commencement of all things new – children return to school for a new term, workers return to their offices after the summer break to take on new challenges and…of course the shops are awash with new season fashion and trends!
You may have bought some amazing pieces for your summer wardrobe, so how can you re-work these outfits from your summer holidays during the autumn?
Cleaver use of outerwear or updating key pieces will keep your summer outfits going for a little longer.
Simple summer dresses can be offset with a classic blazer that will see you through the winter months.
Update your denim collection with a classic pencil skirt, a perfect item for the autumn. Pair with a light top with for instant new season glamour.
If you have brought a number of items white clothing for your summer holidays, when you excited booked flights for the sunny beaches of Malaga, the beauty of Zante or the culture of Naples, don’t despair! The hot colour this autumn is emerald green, and this can be paired with your neutral tops so that you can keep them on over the winter months.
Peplum continues to make an appearance in store. Team your summer body con skirt with a bright and bold peplum jacket – smart, sophisticated and so on trend!
Leather is also a key material this season and it can be paired with a simple tee tops to keep the look fresh and casual and easy to wear during the transitional period.
River Islans Textured Jersey Peplum Jacket. Looks like I’ve got an idea what to get my girlfriend for her upcoming birthday. She thinks I have no fashion sense. That’s why I read Beauty Pulse London.
Glad to be of service!
With the exception of the skate skirt, I love them ALL but that’s only because I don’t does short lengths anymore.
Thanks – they are certainly key pieces for the new season – the peplum jacket is my favourite!
