To debut, the brand presents ‘Moroccan Nights‘, a limited edition, luxury lingerie and sleepwear collection inspired by and made in Africa.

Inspired by the midnight sky and shadows of a balmy Moroccan night, Nubian Skin’s Moroccan Night collection conjures up the warmth and sensuality of Marrakesh.

The creation of this collection was rooted in Ade’s continual mission to redefine the representation of the woman of colour.

Nubian Skin’s mission has been “redefining nude” and with this collection the brand wants to challenge the way Africa is seen in the mainstream.  Ade states:

How much does this message need to be heard!

The collections is modelled by Laurence Sessou who also goes by the name of ‘Moniasse’. The French born model’s roots hail from the West African Republic of Benin and her distinctive body markings were achieved by the process of ‘scarification’.

(Did you spy that Moniasse’s head wrap was made from the lace used in the original nude collections!  Clever!) 

This limited edition collection includes lace bras and panties as well as sleep sets in deep blue and black. The bras range from 30B – 38G (UK size), with matching panties and thongs from XS – XXL. Prices range from £32 – £65 and all are available to pre-order now exclusively on nubianskin.com and will go on sale in October 2016.
