It is special because Dija and I connected very early on into my foray into the world of beauty blogging. nearly four years ago, initially via Twitter (she was amongst my first set of followers) and then we meet face to face after finding out we had a number of things in common!!
She is testament that relationships that are established via social media can really blossom into real, lasting connections!
She was also at the very FIRST Keziah CONNECTIONS event in 2012 – when it was still tiny seedling of an idea – and volunteered her time to make it the success that it was….
…and in that time she has become a mum, beauty writer for Psychologies and Spell magazines AND has launched her own business!!! Talk about being a SUPERWOMAN!
Dija has nearly ten years experience in the beauty industry. She studied at the London School of Beauty Therapy, where she qualified as a full complement beauty therapist. She is the in-house facialist for holistic skincare brand Weleda at ‘The Model Zone’ during the bi-annual London Fashion Week and she used this experience and expertise to launch her company, ‘Facials by Dija’ – a mobile beauty therapy company – in September last year. She is also working on a line of facial oils which are due to launch in the Autumn of this year, VERY EXCITING indeed!!
You will get the chance to hear all about her journey, how she manages to keep all of the ball in the air and how she turned her dreams into as reality!
