Keziah CONNECTIONS 3! Education and Networking in Style

There are only a few days remaining until the October Keziah CONNECTIONS Nurture and Network evening takes place on the 23rd October 2012 at the Mandara Spa in the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster.

The Mandara Spa reception

The Mandara story began in 1995 on the ultimate spa-destination island of Bali with the opening of the first spa at The Chedi (now Alila Ubud). From this paradise, Mandara Spas have expanded to other exotic corners of the globe – Phuket, Hawaii and The Maldives – and is now recognised for its luxurious spa experiences and destination-inspired product collections.

The Spa in Westminster is the only one in Europe! Please do join me at this fabulous location for an evening of education and networking in style.

The theme for this third evening is PR and Communications – Part 1

PR and Communications play a vital role in the promotion of any brand or product – and for many smaller, independent beauty brands, who do not yet have big budgets to spend on advertising, effective PR can make or break the brand – so make sure you are at this event to learn the basics of getting your PR and Communications right!

Also, how does one get into beauty PR? Is it as fun and glamorous as it looks? Your questions will be answered by leading beauty PR professionals on the evening:

Deborah Johnson, Senior Account Executive at Pure Public Relations

Deborah Johnson

Deborah started working in the PR industry just over five years ago, cutting her teeth within fashion before finding her niche within the beauty sector. She currently works at beauty and lifestyle agency Pure Public Relations, as a Senior Account Executive, working to build the profiles of a number of great, small and independent brands, including Perricone MD, Mavala, Malin + Goetz and Philip Kingsley, across all forms of media and with consumer facing projects.

We will also be joined by Louisa Durrant, Account Director at Monty PR, who look after the Mandara Spa and the Mandara Spa product range.

I am really looking forward to learning more about the Mandara Spa range. it is available to purchase at Sainbury’s and is a very ‘purse friendly’ brand indeed – despite the fact that every Mandara Spa product is formulated using the latest skincare technology combined with naturally active raw materials. All products are free from SLES, SLS, parabens, mineral oils, animal ingredients (apart from beeswax, honey and milk) and DEA ensuring their suitability for all but the most sensitive of skins. The range retails from £3.00 to £12.00 – who said luxury had to come at a price!

A selection form the 2012 Christmas collection.

There are four collections: Island Paradise, Tropical Blooms, Amber Heaven (I love Amber!!) and Honeymilk Dream. The Mandara experience, whether you are in the spa or at home, is about awakening the senses. It encourages relaxation and rejuvenation and leaves you feeling radiant, revived and calm…and we can all do with a bit of calm and relaxation in our lives!

The absence of mineral oil in the products get a big tick on the box from me – you will be hard pressed to find a reasonably priced body care range that does not contain mineral oil, so I cannot wait to try it.

I am a massive Body Scrub devotee (I use a body scrub at least 4 times a week!), so the products on my wish list are the Island Paradise Intensive Body Scrub 350ml (£8.00) …

…. and the Amber Heaven Exfoliating Sugar Scrub 450g (£8.00).

Mandara Spa will be giving away a generous hamper on the evening and every guest will take away a goody bag!

Do not miss this spectacular evening! Book today … there are a limited number of spaces available!!

Looking forward to seeing you there!
