Product Review: @delilahcosmetic Time Frame Future Resist Foundation SPF 20 in Truffle

As promised, here is the second instalment of my reviews of the new foundations that I tested last year. You can read the first post here!

Today I am reviewing the Time Frame Future Resist Foundation SPF 20, in the darkest shade, Truffle, which I featured as one of my top British products of 2014! As I mentioned in that post, I attended the launch of brand last August. It was held at the luxurious Rosewood Hotel in Holborn and the founders Rupert Kingston (a seasoned and leading MUA) and Hannah Nicholson (an ex-beauty buyer) were on had to share the delilah story – the brand was born out of ‘friendship, a passion for cosmetics and the desire to help women of all ages to look and feel beautiful’.

As you can imagine, I was DELIGHTED to see that the brand had included foundation shades for a darker skin tone in the launch offering!

I was given a sample of the foundation to test…

…and I fell in love with it instantaneously! The light, buildable coverage has a subtle luminosity and a beautiful velvety texture and it contains the antioxidants Vitamins A and E to protect against environmental damage while a blend of peptides helps to prevent signs of ageing. With a SPF of 20 as well, this foundation packs a powerful punch!

I absolutely adore the packaging! The tube, with its gilded pump is elegant as well as functional. There is literally NO wastage, like with a tube of toothpaste, you are able to squeeze out the last of all of the product!

The foundation wears extremely well during the day and blends effortlessly and in my opinion it is well worth the £34 price point.

Of course, the only downside with the range is the shade availability – but for a small, independent brand, I commend it whole heartedly for the shades that it has made available at this stage. If future campaigns feature darker skinned models, so that this consumer is aware that there are shades available for them, then there is nothing else I could ask of the brand!

Bravo!

Other items that I like include the:

Fade Away Future Resist Concealer in Cashmere

This is the darkest shade in the range and although it is not dark enough to conceal it works amazing as a highlighter as part of one’s contouring arsenal! Ingredients including roseroot and sugar beet help to reduce puffiness and darkness and the stunning, rose gold click pen ensures easy and precise application every time.

Gel Line Eye Liner in Ebony

This is one of the inkiest, blackest gel liners that I have ever used! It glides on like a dream AND stays put! It has become a staple!

The range is available at selected boutique locations (two of which are in London) or online. The website is very informative with a FULL ingredients listing for every item.

If you give the brand a try, do let me know what you think in the comments below!
