Hafsa Issa-Salwe of muslimahbeauty.com is a 20 year old business student, freelance writer and beauty enthusiast…and she dosen’t know this but she was one of the first people I started following on Twitter because of her distinct voice and how she proudly showcased her identity as a black, Muslim woman who loves beauty!!
Muslimah Beauty has been nominated for awards from Marie Claire and Cosmopolitan and recently won Best Indie Blog in the P&G Beauty and Grooming Awards – all within 12 months of starting her blog!!

She has also been featured as a guest blogger for Amitee.com and Lipglossiping.com and was the blogger of the month in the April issue of Spell magazine, which is featured in Pride and Black Beauty and Hair.
When she’s not studying, Hafsa splits her time between Saudi Arabia, Cairo and London, mixes up her own beauty products or else you will most probably find her in the the Selfridges beauty hall…or hanging out with other bloggers…
